Throughout her career, attorney Kori M. Bazanos has focused her concentration on construction law. Her practice has included the filing and enforcement of mechanic’s liens and bond claims, representation of creditors’ rights in bankruptcy proceedings and other forms of commercial litigation. She also frequently represents buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions such as purchase, sales and refinancing.

Her Background

Ms. Bazanos earned her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology, in 1995. She practiced with distinction in other firms for 12 years prior to establishing her own firm in 2008. That same year, she co-authored the chapter on mechanic’s liens in the Illinois Construction Law Manual published by Thomson West.
